Susan Gorrell Producer

Susan Gorrell, Co-founder/Producer of Oakmill Entertainment, has been in the music and film business for over 35 years, creating great connections with industry businesses such as UTA, CAA, ICM, Foundation Media Partners, Netflix, Lionsgate, Sony/Provident, and more. She is a firm believer in creating relationships that last a lifetime and are built on trust and commitment. In 2011, Susan co-created and produced the documentary "A Million Spokes", which received world-wide distribution. In 2018, she produced "Supercon", starring John Malkovich and is released world-wide, with domestic distribution through Sony Pictures. Most recently, Susan finished producing "The Reunion" which was based on a true story and due to release in 2020. Currently, Oakmill Entertainment is set to Produce "Christmas Steve" an original film starring Tyrus (Greg Gutfeld Show) in 2020, as well as "Irish Pride", starring Clancy Brown. Susan is also in her sixth year as the Executive Director of the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, a premiere Midwest festival destination.

Randy Tat

 

Randy has carved out a career as one of the industry's most versatile executives. He boasts experience in both television and film, from his start as a NBC page to Executive Vice President for the Robert Evans Company, CFP Productions, housed at Paramount Pictures. At CFP, he helped develop hit shows, such as "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" (which grossed over $177 million worldwide), "The Saint", "The Out of Towner's" and more. Randy also served as an executive to the Senior Vice President of Production, in the motion picture group at Paramount Studios, developing and coordinating on such hit films as "Braveheart", "Mission Impossible 1 (and 2)", "Forrest Gump", and more. Tat has also served as a segment producer, coordinating and supervising TV pilots for Columbia Pictures, Fox and Paramount. He worked as Executive/Producer at Renegade 83 Entertainment in Los Angeles, creating acclaimed shows such as; "Naked and Afraid", "Ready for Love (NBC)", "Fit to Fat to Fit". Randy's influence extends to every area of productions, including finance, business affairs, development and production. He continues to utilize his vast industry contacts and knowledge, built over a two-decade career, developing, producing and marketing quality, commercial entertainment.

Ken Gorrell Producer/SFX

 

With over 100 feature films and TV to his credit, such as; "Dr. Sleep", "The Haunting of Hill House", "Ozark", "Pitch Perfect", "Do You Believe", "Transformers", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons", "Forrest Gump" and "The Patriot" and more, Ken Gorrell has worked worldwide with many of the top Directors, Producers and Studios creating the best Mechanical Effects for the past 24 years. In 2008 he was awarded a Primetime Emmy for his Special Effects work on the HBO miniseries "John Adams". In 2009, Ken, produced "A Million Spokes", a documentary covering the 37th annual RAGBRAI, which premiered on the Documentary Channel and has world-wide distribution. In 2018, Ken produced "Supercon" starring John Malkovich and is set to Produce with Oakmill Entertainment "Christmas Steve" and "Irish Pride" in 2020.

Brandon Gorrell

 

Growing up in the film industry, Brandon has a keen understanding of the craft and the steps to acquiring his ultimate goal of being a director. He kickstarted his career in Los Angeles as a production assistant in reality tv shows such as Discovery Channels "Naked and Afraid" and Spike TV's "To Catch a Crook. He eventually moved to Atlanta to begin a new path in feature filmmaking as an assistant location manager. He has worked on many major feature films such as: Godzilla: King of the Monsters (Lionsgate), Bad Boys 3 (Columbia), Fast and Furious 8 (Universal), Venom (Sony/Marvel), Emancipation (Apple TV) and many others.
After acquiring a knack for independent filmmaking, he has ventured more into screenwriting, directing, and acting after successfully doing all three in his short film "Isolation" which premiered at film festivals around the United States. He has also directed and wrote several promotional videos for film festivals, as well as starred in an upcoming TV Pilot, "Fine Flick Film Fest". He continues to surround himself with likeminded people and thrives to create more and exciting content in the near future..
